Year 3 History

In History the children have been learning all about ancient Egypt, from who they were to what they wear and eat. In art children have had the opportunity to design and make ancient Egyptian masks out of clay using different clay tools to add detail. In maths children have been busy learning about number bonds- adding and subtracting, time and 3-D shapes. They have created 3-D shape- models to support their understanding of faces, edges and vertices. Finally, children have had the opportunity to take part in a class assembly based on the theme Taqwa.
