English Oranges in No Man’s Land Complete

Year 5 have been busy exploring a fiction story set in Lebanon. They absolutely loved reading the book, asking questions, and developing understanding of inference and the author’s use of language. We used discussion and role-play to explore characters and the impact of civil war. Children were then encouraged to plan, edit and write a story from a different character’s point of view.
